The Moskau Symphony Orchestra
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren ,
Im Herbst 2009 präsentiert „The Moskau Symphony Orchestra“ unter der Leitung seines Chefdirigenten und künstlerischen Leiters Arkady Berin und mit Teilnahme des hervorragenden Starpianisten Alexander Ghindin ein faszinierendes Programm unter dem Titel "Das Beste von Peter Tschaikowsky".
Zum ersten Mal gastiert „The Moskau Symphony Orchestra“ im Rahmen der Europa-Tournee Italien – Deutschland – Spanien in Wuppertal.
Seit seiner Gründung vor 20 Jahren hat sich das Moskauer Symphonie Orchester im Konzertleben Moskaus fest etabliert und prägt entscheidend das musikalische Leben der russischen Metropole.
Tourneen führten das Orchester in die USA, nach Japan und in viele Staaten Europas. Mit über 100 Schallplatten- und CD- Einspielungen machte sich das Orchester einen Namen, mehrere Aufnahmen wurden international ausgezeichnet.
Geleitet wird das Ensemble von Maestro Arkady Berin, einem der
herausragenden Dirigenten unserer Zeit, der durch seine zahlreichen Auftritte mit solchen Solisten wie Jose Carreras, Mischa Maisky, Giora Feidman, Yuri Bashmet, Daniel Hope europaweit bekannt ist.
Vertreter der besten Traditionen der russischen Schule des
Dirigierens, gehört Arkady Berin heute zu den führenden Interpreten der russischen klassischen Musik. Seit 2003 leitet er das Orchester „Internationale Symphoniker Deutschland“. Das Moskauer Symphonie Orchester übernahm er 2009.
An dem Abend bietet das Moskauer Symphonie Orchester ein erlesenes Programm unter dem Titel „Das Beste von Peter Tschaikowsky“: Drei seiner bekanntesten Werke, die Phantasie-Ouvertüre nach William Shakespeare „Romeo und Julia“, das Konzert für Klavier und Orchester Nr. 1 b-Moll und die 5. Sinfonie e-Moll werden aufgeführt. Das Klavierkonzert, eines der beliebtesten Werke im internationalen Repertoire, spielt der weltbekannte Pianist Alexander Ghindin. Als einer der talentiertesten Vertreter der jungen Generation ist er heute mit 32 Jahren bereits „Verdienter Künstler Russlands“. Bereits mit 14 Jahren hatte er als jüngster Sieger aller Zeiten die
Goldmedaille beim Tschaikowsky-Wettbewerb Moskau 1994 gewonnen. 1999 errang er den 2. Preis des Königin-Elisabeth-Klavier- Wettbewerbs Brüssel und 2007 den 1. Preis des Internationalen Klavierwettbewerbs Cleveland. Alexander Ghindin ist inzwischen ständiger Gast bei den führenden Orchestern der Welt.
Das Konzert findet am 28. Oktober 2009 in der Historischen
Stadthalle Wuppertal, Anfang 20.00 Uhr statt.

IBC Amsterdam
Now in its 40th year, IBC will again be the year’s leading event for the world of multimedia content creation, management and delivery. The Conference Programme will cover a broad range of technical and topical issues, with a full schedule of tutorials, technical papers sessions, discussion panels, master-classes and special feature events.
The Programme is crafted around carefully focused theme days to provide comprehensive and concentrated insight into the most important business and technology factors influencing our industry.
The theme day subject areas this year include Broadband Networks and IPTV, Multimedia Services for our new ‘Digital Lifestyles’, Production and Protection of all types of Content and the latest advances in Global Broadcasting including super-HDTV, Digital Cinema and big screen displays.

Hot Topics for 2007
The hot topics at IBC2007 will be D-Cinema, Mobile TV, and IPTV. These will be prominent on the exhibition show floor and refected in the IBC conference.

Mobile TV and Media on the Move
Following the recent announcement that there are now more than 2.5 billion mobiles in use worldwide, the 'fourth screen' was inevitably a hot topic at IBC2006. To cater for this thirst for knowledge among broadcasters, the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam offered a comprehensive programme of mobile-specific events.
Highlights included a dedicated theme day on Media on the Move within the peer-reviewed, thought-leading IBC Conference, an in-depth tutorial on Multimedia on the Move designed to introduce delegates to the different technologies and service platforms that can deliver multimedia services to mobiles, a dedicated Mobile Zone within the exhibition and Business Briefings which complemented the IBC Conference and provided Mobile Zone exhibitors with a platform for sharing their experience as early entrants into the mobile space.
Mobile cropped up regularly elsewhere at IBC and was an important feature of several of the short-listed nominees in the new IBC Innovation Awards, including the overall winner of the Judges Award, the top prize. The Open Mobile Alliance chose IBC to outline its BCAST Specification to the broadcast sector.
IBC also dipped its toe in the water of citizen journalism, inviting visitors to the show to submit reports on any aspect of the show from their mobile phones.
Innovative technologies that change the way people consume and enjoy content, especially when on the move, were on show in the Innovation Showcase in the IBC New Technology Campus.

The Big Screen Experience at IBC2007 including Digital Cinema
IBC is unique in not just talking about digital cinema but building one, too – the IBC Big Screen.
As usual, from Friday to Sunday it will be made available for the leading suppliers in the industry to demonstrate their latest developments.
At IBC2006, Arri, Autodesk and Doremi were among those on show, along with the latest projector technologies from Christie and Sony. But perhaps the biggest interest was the first footage from the 4k camera from Red Digital Cinema, based on its own Mysterium sensor. This caused a sensation at NAB with just a mock-up on display, but the company selected IBC to premiere its launch demonstrations.
Another well-established IBC tradition is the chance to watch great movies in the finest possible viewing conditions. The IBC Big Screen features excellent surround sound as well as the finest digital projection using state-of-the-art technology in a digital cinema built just for IBC in the RAI Auditorium.
Like all product showings in the IBC Big Screen, the movie presentations are free to all IBC visitors, but seats are limited so don't be late.
And of course on Monday there will be a full day conference focused on Digital Cinema.
